Matt Clayton

Matthew Clayton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consultancy and leadership roles within the sporting and charitable sectors. As the Principal Consultant and Owner of Matthew Clayton Consulting since September 2017, consultancy support is provided to sporting clubs and organizations focusing on Para-Sport Pathways, Program Impact, and Grants. Previously, as Chief Executive Officer of Blind Sports Australia, Matthew led the Australian team at the 2023 IBSA World Games in Birmingham, managing around 100 athletes and support staff across six sports. Additional notable positions include Grants Researcher at The Grants Hub, Director of Coaching at Ashwood Cricket Club, and Deputy Director/Foundation Manager at the Royal Melbourne Hospital Foundation. Matthew's educational background includes a Graduate Diploma of Community Sector Management and an Advanced Diploma of Management, among other qualifications.
