René Schwarb

René Schwarb has a diverse work experience spanning several industries, including IT sales, finance, and technology. René started their career as a Gruppenleiter at Schweizerischer Bankverein, where they were responsible for the introduction of object-oriented technology and development of pilot applications. René also served as a Leiter des Geschäftsbereichs "Research Center" at Systor AG, leading a team of over 30 IT professionals and overseeing various research projects.

Mr. Schwarb then worked at CustomerCare AG as a Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung, Mitgründer und Verwaltungsrat, where they implemented new technologies and played a crucial role in the realization of a web-based banking solution.

René later joined Avaloq as the Stv. CTO, Head Testing und Konfigurations-Management, where they established the test management system and designed a test framework for automated system and acceptance testing.

After that, Mr. Schwarb joined Swisscom as a SOA Architect, focusing on the conception and implementation of an Enterprise Service Bus.

René Schwarb obtained a Dipl. Informatik Ing. HTL degree in Informatik from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, where they studied from 1981 to 1984. Prior to that, they completed a Berufslehre as an FEAM (Industrie-Elektroniker) at BBC (Brown Boveri & Cie), now known as ABB, from 1977 to 1980. In addition to their education, they have also received certifications such as being a participant at the Innosuisse Startup Campus in September 2022 and completing the course "Neue Konzepte für den Verwaltungsrat: Corporate Governance" at the Swiss Board School in January 2021.
