Mertcan Uzun

Mertcan UZUN has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mertcan currently works at Go1 as the Director of Culture & Community, DEI. Prior to that, they held the same position at Blinkist, where they also served as the Head of Culture & Community and the Interim Head of Talent Acquisition. Mertcan has also worked as a Senior Manager in the People & Culture department at Blinkist. Before joining Blinkist, Mertcan worked as a Diversity & Inclusion Specialist and a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist. Mertcan also has experience in talent acquisition roles at DCMN and homify. Earlier in their career, Mertcan worked as a Recruiter at VonChurch and as a Research Assistant at Marmara Üniversitesi. Mertcan also interned as an International Patient Services Operation Intern at Acibadem Healthcare Group.

Mertcan Uzun has a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Sociology from Freie Universität Berlin, which they obtained between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in International Relations and Political Science at Marmara University from 2009 to 2014. In 2012, they also studied International Relations and Political Science, as well as European Studies, at Jagiellonian University. Additionally, Mertcan Uzun has obtained certifications in Agile Fundamentals: Scrum & Kanban from The Agile Coach LLC and Agile for Project Control from the University System of Maryland in the year 2020.
