Joy Banerjee is a seasoned design leader with extensive experience in product design and user experience across various industries. Currently serving as the VP of Design at Blinkit since July 2025, Joy previously held the position of VP of Product Design at Zomato, where initiatives included enhancing design tools for delivery and restaurant partners and developing a Partner Design System. Prior roles include Sr. Director, Head of Design & User Research at Cleartrip, and mentor for product design at Sherlock AI, where leadership extended to mentoring cross-functional teams. As a co-founder and Director of Design Strategy & UX at Woodapple, Joy specialized in digital media and user experience design. Additional experience includes project leadership at Copper Beech (UK) Ltd and customer experience management at Ebookers Limited. Joy holds an MDes in Design and Visual Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
