Pierre-Alexandre St-Jean has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. 🥢Pierre-Alexandre started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Aluminerie Alouette Inc., where they gained valuable experience. 🥢Pierre-Alexandre then worked as a Software Developer and Graduate Student Researcher at CERVO Brain Research Center, focusing on software development and research.

Pierre-Alexandre went on to work at Université Laval as a Lab Teacher, where they taught and mentored students in software engineering processes. 🥢Pierre-Alexandre then joined Coveo as a Software Developer and later became an Engineering Team Lead, responsible for leading the cloud infrastructure team.

After that, they worked at Thoryx/Blackbox as a Lead Software Developer, honing their leadership skills. Pierre-Alexandre then joined Pleo as a Senior Software Engineer and later became an Engineering Team Lead for Billing & Internationalization. Their responsibilities included leading projects, improving software engineering processes, and hiring new talent.

Following Pleo, Pierre-Alexandre worked at 1Password as a Senior Software Developer and later as a Technical Lead & Acting Engineering Manager. 🥢Pierre-Alexandre led a team and collaborated on integrating 1Password with identity providers.

Next, Pierre-Alexandre joined Braver as a Senior Software developer and Site Reliability Engineer, gaining further expertise in these areas. 🥢Pierre-Alexandre then worked at Baseten as a Lead Software Engineer - Infrastructure, where they implemented infrastructure initiatives, reduced AWS costs, and introduced observability tools.

Currently, Pierre-Alexandre is working as a Software Engineer at Blissbook, where they conticontinuepply their expertise in software development.

Pierre-Alexandre St-Jean began their education in 2005 at Cégep de Sept-Îles, where they received a Technical College Degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management in 2009. 🥢Pierre-Alexandre then continued their education at École de technologie supérieure, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from 2009 to 2013.
