Sydney L. Howell

Sydney L. Howell currently serves as the Global Head of Employee Relations and Investigations at Block and is the founder of Howell Consulting, which focuses on enhancing internal capabilities and addressing workplace misconduct. Prior experience includes co-founding and serving as COO of Therefore, a platform for facilitating informational interviews, and holding the position of Global Head of People Standards and Employee Relations at Twitter, where Sydney established key policies and compliance functions. Sydney also has extensive legal experience from founding Howell Employment Law, serving as Of Counsel at Kastner | Kim LLP, and practicing as an Associate Attorney at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP. Sydney's early career includes a role as a Student Law Clerk at The South African Human Rights Commission, with a focus on documenting human rights violations.
