David Iraka

David Iraka is an accomplished financial services professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. As the CEO and Founder of AFRODIME (PTY) LTD since May 2024, David drives efforts in fintech. Prior to this, David founded and served as the Managing Director of ANCESTRY CAPITAL (PTY) LTD from March 2014 to April 2024, specializing in financial planning and wealth management in South Africa, including the acquisition of an Old Mutual franchise. Experience at Standard Bank Group as the Head of Offshore Banking for Africa involved managing offshore product distribution across fourteen countries. Earlier roles included Area Manager at Nedbank Private Wealth, Business Development Manager at STANLIB, and Assistant Regional Leader at Absa. David holds multiple degrees and certifications, including an Executive Program from INSEAD and Chartered Wealth Manager designation from the American Academy of Financial Management.
