Emanuel Lima

Emanuel is a Brazilian software engineer with a background in Physics. He participated on various research and software engineering projects during his time at the University of São Paulo, such as the study of the phenomenology of the Quark Gluon Plasma, the development of a nuclear physics simulation software in Python and C++ and the autotuning of Rust software via the LLVM intermediate representation in Julia. He is very excited about high performance simulation software, compilers and extracting every ounce of processing power from computers. He is also the co-founder of the first hackerspace at the University of São Paulo, where he gives training on his specialties.
