Sheldon Joyner

Sheldon Joyner has worked in various roles in the field of mathematics since 2005. In 2005, they began their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Purdue University. In 2008, they moved to Western University, where they held the role of Postdoctoral Fellow and Assistant Professor. In 2011, they joined Brandeis University as a Lecturer (Postdoctoral), where they performed mathematical research and taught four graduate and four undergraduate classes. In 2013, they became an Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Visiting Assistant Professor at Suffolk University, where they taught undergraduate mathematics classes, mentored math majors, and ran reading courses and Putnam exam training. In 2022, they took on the role of Director of Blockchain Strategy at Blockskye.

Sheldon Joyner pursued their education in the field of Mathematics. Sheldon attended Stellenbosch University from 1999 to 2000, where they obtained a Master of Science degree. Sheldon then moved on to the University of Arizona from 2000 to 2005, where they studied Mathematics without obtaining a degree. Finally, they attended Purdue University from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics.
