Derek Jennison

Derek Jennison has worked in the healthcare industry since 2010. In 2009, they began working as a Patient Care Technician and Lift Team Technician at Tampa General Hospital. In 2010, they graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. In 2011, they completed 375 hours of student nurse technician duties at James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Clinical Nurse II (RN) at UCSF Medical Center, providing quality care to postoperative patients and analyzing historical medical data, patient concerns, and vital metrics. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Travel RN with Aya Healthcare and FlexCare Medical Staffing, completing travel assignments in various departments and adapting to different hospital systems. Since 2020, they have worked as an Emergency Room Nurse at Tampa General Hospital. In 2022, they began working as a Lightning Integration Specialist with BlockSpaces and a Travel Registered Nurse with FlexCare Medical Staffing.

Derek Jennison obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida in 2011 and a BS in Accounting from the University of South Florida in 2007. Derek also holds a certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association for ACLS.
