Nicole Thomas

Nicole Thomas is an experienced professional in photography and veterinary assistance, currently serving as an ER Veterinary Assistant at Veterinary Emergency Group since November 2020. In addition to this role, Thomas is a Freelance Photographer for BloodHorse, capturing thoroughbred racing events across the United States. As the Founder and Lead Photographer of Nicole Marie Photography, Thomas specializes in balancing artificial and natural lighting while managing photo editing and creative design. Prior experience includes working as a Camera Operator at Gulfstream Park and as a Studio Manager and Photo Assistant at K Morgan Photography. Thomas holds a Master’s Degree in Geography & Environmental Studies and a GIS Certification from Northeastern Illinois University, alongside a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Photography from Columbia College Chicago and an Associate of Arts in Photography from Cape Fear Community College.
