Anastasiia Stratiievska, PhD, is a Research Scientist at Bloodworks Northwest, a position held since November 2020. Previously, Anastasiia served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Student at the University of Washington from November 2012 to March 2020. Early career experience includes engineering roles at the Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology in Kiev, Ukraine, and the M.G. Kholodny Institute of Botany from January 2008 to September 2012. Anastasiia earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physiology and Biophysics from the University of Washington (2015-2019), a Master’s degree in Molecular and Biology Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (2010-2012), and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Biophysics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (2006-2010). Early education was completed at Lyceum №100 "Podil" in Kiev, where a full general secondary school education was obtained.
