Bence Szemes has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. In 2014 and 2016, they were a Hardware and Software Developer Intern at Conet Kft. and thyssenkrupp Presta AG respectively. In 2015, they were a Co-Founder, CTO and Hardware and Software Developer at FloKé - Smart bicycle lock. In 2017, they worked as an Embedded System Engineer at Knorr-Bremse R&D Center Budapest. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Software Engineer at TTTech Auto, where they took over and rewrote 2 SW modules (25,000+ static C and Python lines of code and 15,000+ generated lines of code), was responsible for the requirements, customer alignments and planning of development, gained experience with AutoSAR, and worked in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). Currently, they are an Embedded Software Specialist at Bloom Diagnostics.

Bence Szemes obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics between 2011 and 2015. Bence then pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2015. Bence completed their Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2017.
