Adil Ashary

Adil Ashary is a distinguished engineer with extensive experience in the field of materials and process engineering. Currently serving as a Distinguished Engineer at Bloom Energy since July 2011, Adil has significantly advanced the corrosion resistance of welded and brazed structures for solid oxide fuel cells and established a high-volume thermal spray coating facility. Prior to this role, Adil was an Engineering Manager at Praxair Surface Technologies, where responsibilities included overseeing complex engineering projects, and R&D Manager at Praxair Electronics, where the establishment of a cutting-edge research facility was achieved. Earlier in the career at Praxair, positions included Development Leader and Quality Manager, focusing on materials and process development. Adil earned a Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh between 1981 and 1985.
