James Funk

James Funk has extensive experience in sales, with a focus on enterprise accounts and verticals. James currently holds the position of Vice President of Sales at Bloom Energy, where they have been since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Sales for Verticals and Head of Western Sales at Bloom Energy. Before joining Bloom Energy, James held various sales positions at IBM and Corporate Executive Board, including a Senior Director Sales role at Corporate Executive Board. James also gained experience as an Extreme Blue Summer Intern at IBM.

James Funk completed their MBA in General Management from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their BA in Economics and Political Science from Colgate University between 1997 and 2001. James attended St. Paul's School from 1994 to 1997, although the degree and field of study are unspecified for this period.
