Frederick Bloom Johns

Frederick Bloom Johns has over 30 years of work experience. Frederick Bloom is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Bloom Engineering Company since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Rivian as the Sr. Director, leading the enterprise-wide quality management strategy. Before Rivian, they held various senior positions in United States Steel Corporation, where they were responsible for automotive quality, operational excellence, and asset revitalization. Frederick has also worked at Henkel as the Director of Global Product Quality Planning and Program Management, and at ArvinMeritor as the Director of Engineering. Frederick Bloom began their career at Ford Motor Company, where they had several roles including Vehicle Integration Supervisor for Hybrid Programs and Master Black Belt in Consumer Driven Six Sigma.

Frederick Bloom Johns attended Lehigh University from 1986 to 1992, where they pursued both an MBA and a BSME degree.
