Blayne Scofield has a diverse range of experience in the financial and legal sectors. Blayne started their career as a Bank Examiner for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in 1999 and then moved on to become a Bank Examiner for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in 2000.

In 2005, Blayne transitioned to a role as an Attorney at Cahill Gordon & Reindel, where they focused on corporate transactional work, specializing in bank finance and securities offerings. Blayne stayed with the firm until 2007 when they joined Sidley Austin LLP as an Attorney. At Sidley Austin LLP, Blayne represented clients in financial regulatory practices, with a focus on banking institutions and consumer finance.

Blayne's next career move brought their to Bloomberg Industry Group in 2010, where they served as a Subject Matter Expert in Banking and Finance. In this role, they led the Dodd-Frank content development team and developed instructional materials for legal and compliance professionals.

Within Bloomberg Industry Group, Blayne then took on the position of Product Owner in 2014. In this role, they partnered with strategy stakeholders to translate the business vision into actionable tasks. Blayne also led scrums, refinement, and planning, and demonstrated product features to users and sales.

Currently, Blayne is working at Bloomberg Industry Group as a Principal Product Manager. In this role, they lead the dockets collection team and excels in aligning product development with user needs throughout the development life cycle. Their approach is deeply rooted in user-centric design and strategic stakeholder engagement, ensuring a seamless balance between technical solutions and end-user satisfaction.

Blayne Scofield received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from The University of Kansas, which was completed between the years 1997 and 1999.

Following that, Blayne Scofield attended Georgetown University Law Center and obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree, cum laude. This degree was achieved from 2002 to 2005, with the field of study being Law.
