Jeffrey Horst

Jeffrey Horst is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in editing and production. Currently serving as an Associate Editor at Bloomberg Industry Group since October 2023, Jeffrey edits multiple daily stories for clarity and structure while overseeing pitches from global reporters. Prior to this role, Jeffrey worked at POLITICO as a Deputy Production Director, managing a team of 15-20 and enhancing publication workflows. Jeffrey's previous positions include Senior Digital Producer and Digital Producer at POLITICO, where a significant volume of stories were produced daily, and an impactful partnership project on Covid-19 grant spending was developed. Early career roles include Senior Producer at ASU's New Media Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab and Editor-in-Chief of The State Press, recognized for excellence in student journalism. Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Journalism and a Master of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
