Hamidou Wara Ballo

Hamidou Ballo is a computer science graduate with extensive experience in technology and data science. Currently serving as a Bloomberg Tech Lab Fellow since April 2024, Hamidou collaborates with engineers to develop applications using RabbitMQ and Docker while enhancing real-time data processing through Python. As a BASTA Fellow since September 2023, Hamidou participates in a career preparation program for first-generation college students. Previous roles include Data Science Researcher at Microsoft, Technology Analyst at AIG, and Website Associate at HABNET Chamber of Commerce. Hamidou's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Hunter College and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Borough of Manhattan Community College.
