Joao Jatene

Joao Jatene is currently a Quant Developer at Bloomberg, having started in January 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Quantitative Trader at Schonfeld from January 2022 to December 2023, focusing on systematic global macro strategies in futures and FX, and at FORT L.P. from December 2018 to December 2021, specializing in futures and equities trading and research. Joao served as a Research Analyst at the International Monetary Fund from August 2016 to December 2018 and as a Research Consultant at The World Bank from March 2016 to August 2016. Earlier experience includes a position as a Strategy Analyst at Accenture and internships in asset management at Safra National Bank of New York and PRAGMA GESTAO DE PATRIMONIO. Joao Jatene holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Applied Economics, and an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Pace University.
