Peter Grauer

Peter Grauer is the Chairman at Bloomberg. Peter has over 50 years of experience in the financial industry.

Peter started their career at Citi in 1969, where they held various positions over the next 11 years. Peter then joined Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in 1980, where they became a managing director. In 1989, they left DLJ to start their own firm, Grauer & Wheat.

In 1991, they returned to DLJ, and in 2000, the company was acquired by Credit Suisse. Peter stayed on as a managing director until 2002. Peter then joined Bloomberg in 2003, where they have served as Chairman since 2010.

Peter Grauer is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Peter also holds a degree from Harvard Business School's Program for Management Development.
