Kelly E. Middleton has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they began working as the Sr. Recruiting Manager at BloomBoard, Inc. Previously, they were the Superintendent of Newport Independent Schools from 2012-2018, and the Associate Superintendent of Mason County Schools from 1998-2012. Additionally, they are an author of three books: Competing For Kids:21Customer Service Concepts Public Schools Can Use to Retain and Attract Students (2018), Simply the Best: 29 Things Students Say the Best Teachers Do Around Relationships (2010), and Who Cares? Improving Public Schools Through Relationships & Customer Service (2007).

Kelly E. previously obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business/Commerce, General from Georgetown College, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Georgetown College as well.
