Carrie Lezotte

Carrie LeZotte has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Carrie currently serves as the Director of Cable and Community Relations for Bloomfield Township, where they manage the Community Television Cable Station and directs the communication vision for the township. Prior to this, they were the President of Spectrum Computer Forensics from 2020 to 2022.

From 2016 to 2022, LeZotte worked as a Producer, Director, and Camera-Ready Coach at Camera-Ready Coach & Styling, where they produced independent film projects, provided coaching and wardrobe styling, and developed training programs for being on-camera.

Carrie also has experience as a Director and Executive Producer at One of Us Films from 1994 to 2021, where they produced various films, including political commercials, documentaries, and educational films.

LeZotte served as the Executive Producer, Communications and Marketing Manager at OIC Movies from 2008 to 2016, where they managed the development and marketing of an American Sign Language video database.

Furthermore, they worked as the Executive Producer, Content & Community Engagement at Detroit Public Television from 2011 to 2014, overseeing the digital media team and producing educational resources.

Lastly, LeZotte was the Manager of Corporate Communications at Comerica Bank from 1999 to 2008, where they supervised video production, event production, and provided external communications support.

Carrie LeZotte holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from Michigan State University. Carrie also obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Communication and Media Studies from Wayne State University. In addition to their academic achievements, Carrie also received ICS Training from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Carrie further pursued their passion for film by completing a Directing Certificate program at New York University, specializing in Film/Cinema/Video Studies. Additionally, Carrie has attended workshops in Directing, Lighting, Camera, and Scriptwriting at Maine Media. Carrie has also attained ASA 101/103/104 certifications in sailing from Great Lakes Sailing Company.
