Heidi Knuth

Heidi Knuth has a diverse work experience in libraries. Heidi started their career at Antioch Public Library District in 2001 as a Page and later worked as a Circulation Clerk and in Public Relations. Heidi then became a Reference/Interlibrary Loan Paraprofessional before joining Deerfield Public Library as a Youth Services Associate in 2007. In 2014, they joined The Glenside Public Library District as a part-time Youth Services Librarian. In 2011, they joined Bloomingdale Public Library as a Youth Services Librarian/Preschool Outreach Coordinator/VolunTeen Coordinator and later became the Youth Services Assistant Department Head. Heidi currently holds this position along with their role as a Youth Services Assistant Department Head at Bloomingdale Public Library.

Heidi Knuth has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Elementary Education/English, which they obtained from Marquette University. This degree also earned their dual state teaching certificates/licenses. Heidi completed a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program through the Our Lady of Victory Homeschool Program. Heidi also holds a Master of Library & Information Science (M.L.I.S.) degree from Dominican University. Heidi'sfocus areas during their Master's program included Reference, Cataloging, and Youth Services.
