Sean Duffy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sean started their career as a Retail Management intern at Shaw's Supermarkets, where they gained knowledge in various aspects of the grocery retail business. Sean was also chosen to pilot the new Retail Management Internship Program and performed a competitive analysis for the company. After that, Sean interned as a Loyalty Marketing intern at Bloomingdale's, focusing on their credit card program and developing new strategies for account acquisition and retention. Sean then transitioned to a Marketing Effectiveness Analyst role, analyzing the performance of promotional events and conducting A/B testing for the Merchant Division. Sean later became a Manager of Marketing Effectiveness, where they led a team and was responsible for maintaining promotional calendars and forecasting sales. Sean further progressed to roles such as Director of Customer Loyalty Programs, Operating Vice President of Customer Loyalty & Contact Strategy, and Vice President of Contact Strategy, Loyalty & International Marketing at Bloomingdale's. In their most recent role as Vice President of Contact Strategy, Paid Search, & SEO, Sean was responsible for strategy development and execution in paid search and search engine optimization. Overall, Sean has demonstrated expertise in loyalty programs, marketing effectiveness, and contact strategy across different leadership positions at Bloomingdale's. Additionally, they have experience in private tutoring, providing one-on-one assistance to students at the University of Pennsylvania.
Sean Duffy earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Marketing from The Wharton School, where they also minored in Psychology and Hispanic Studies. Prior to that, they attended Manchester High School West.
