Tony Spring

Tony Spring is the Chief Executive Officer of Macy's since 2021, having previously held the positions of President and CEO-Elect and Executive Vice President. Since 2022, Tony serves as the Chairman of the NRF Foundation and has been an Advisory Board Member at the Hospital for Special Surgery since 2018. Additionally, Tony has been a Board Member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) since 2002. Tony's extensive career at Bloomingdale's spanned from 1990 to 2023, where roles included Chairman and CEO, President and COO, and several senior executive positions in marketing and store operations. Tony's retail journey began in 1987 as an Executive Trainee at Bloomingdale's. Tony holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration/Management from Cornell University, earned between 1983 and 1987.
