Niels Out

Niels Out has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Niels started their career as a Studentmentor at UvA Aansluitprogramma, where they worked from October 2005 to June 2010. During this time, they gained valuable experience in mentoring and supporting students.

In 2007, Niels worked as a Student programmeerzomer.nl at HollandOpen. Their role involved rewriting JChemPaint with Java2D and SWT. Niels worked on this project from June 2007 to September 2007.

Niels then joined the University of Amsterdam in March 2008, where they worked on the Employee Budget Splitting Project until September 2008. This project was specific to the University of Amsterdam.

In August 2008, Niels worked as a Projectmedewerker at Couscous Global. Niels completed this role in June 2009.

From January 2010 to February 2012, Niels worked as a Junior Web Developer at Bloomreach. During this time, they gained experience in web development.

Following this, Niels took on the role of Support Engineer at Bloomreach from March 2012 to January 2013. Niels then transitioned to the role of Service Desk Team Lead from February 2013 to March 2017.

Their most recent role at Bloomreach is that of a Software Engineer, which they started in March 2017 and continues to the present.

Overall, Niels Out has a diverse range of work experience, including web development, support engineering, team leadership, and mentoring.

Niels Out received their Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Amsterdam in the years 2010 to 2012. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence at the same university from 2004 to 2010. Their education journey began at De Copernicus, where they obtained their VWO diploma with a specialization in Natuur & Techniek from 1998 to 2004.
