Vaclav Jurecek

Vaclav Jurecek began their career as a PHP Developer at itx.cz in 2003, where they worked until 2013. Vaclav then joined INSPIRE CZ s.r.o. as a Junior PHP Developer and gradually moved up the ranks to become a Lead Developer and eventually the CTO. During this time, they were responsible for managing IT departments, delivering critical projects, and increasing company revenue. In 2018, Vaclav joined Currys plc as an Application Architect and later took on the role of Solution Architect. Vaclav was responsible for design, documentation, and coordination with various teams. In 2019, they joined Currys CoE, s.r.o. as a Team Manager, leading a group of 40 engineers and motivating them to advance in their careers. In 2022, they joined Tatum as the Head of Platform, where their mission was to build and coordinate a team of 30 engineers. Currently, Vaclav is working at Bloomreach as a Senior Engineering Manager.

Vaclav Jurecek completed their education in a chronological order. From 2000 to 2004, they attended the High school of Industrial, IT and Art in Opava, where they graduated with a degree in Information Technologies. Following their high school education, they pursued further studies at Masaryk University Brno from 2005 to 2011. During this time, they obtained a Magistr (Mgr.) degree in Applied informatics, with a specialization in software engineering.

Additionally, in March 2019, Vaclav Jurecek obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner from Scaled Agile Inc.
