Karl Burnett

Karl Burnett has extensive work experience in various HR and leadership roles. Karl currently serves as the Group Director of People and Engagement at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc, where they are responsible for developing and implementing strategies related to people, DE&I, sustainability, and communications. Prior to this, Karl held senior roles at A+E Networks EMEA, including Senior Vice President Human Resources EMEA and VP Human Resources EMEA. Karl also gained experience at the BBC as an HR Director, and at Nickelodeon and Channel 4 Television in HR management positions. Karl started their career at Marks and Spencer as an HR Manager.

Karl Burnett attended Hewett School from 1984 to 1990, although no degree or field of study is specified. Following this, they enrolled at London South Bank University from 1993 to 1997, where they pursued a BA Hons in French and Spanish.
