Laura James

Laura James has an extensive background in both creative writing and administrative roles. Currently serving as a Children's Author at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc since May 2016, Laura has demonstrated a strong focus on literature for young audiences following the completion of an MA in Writing for Young People from Bath Spa University. Prior to this, Laura held various positions as a Personal Assistant across notable organizations, including JCA Group, AMS Ltd., Complete Communications, and Wetherell, where responsibilities included supporting high-profile executives. Additionally, Laura gained diverse experience in the arts as Gallery Manager at Possi and worked in sales at Mulberry Company. Educational achievements include degrees from the University of Kent and further professional training from Guildford Secretarial College and The Grange Cookery School.
