Oliver Perkins

Oliver Perkins is an accomplished entrepreneur and author with a strong background in business development and publishing. As the founder of Droneoptix since November 2017, Oliver successfully transformed the company from incurring monthly losses to profitability while managing academic commitments and competitive sailing. In June 2024, Oliver launched Fruitful Work in top universities across the UK, securing over £20,000 in funding, and has been recognized as an author with Bloomsbury Publishing Plc, having sold over 10,000 copies of "Reading the Clouds" and commissioned for a second edition. Additionally, Oliver gained valuable experience as an Expansion Team Intern at Two, where key contributions included designing a new sales dashboard and applying for substantial EU grants. Oliver is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Cambridge, building on a solid educational foundation established at the Royal Grammar School Guildford.
