Theresa Robbins Dudeck, PhD, is an accomplished academic and practitioner in the field of theater, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Theater and Adjunct Professor at Portland State University since September 2018. As a Co-Director and Founder of the Global Improvisation Initiative since January 2017, Theresa has contributed significantly to the discourse on applied improvisation. Theresa is also an author, known for works such as "Keith Johnstone: A Critical Biography" and has co-edited significant publications in the field. With extensive experience in performance, including being a literary executor for Keith Johnstone and working as a professional actor, Theresa continues to teach and inspire the next generation of theater artists, having served on faculty at various institutions and contributed to projects with Actors' Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA. Educational achievements include a PhD in Theatre from the University of Oregon and an MA from California State University, Northridge.
