Ritsuko Shibutani

Ritsuko Shibutani has extensive experience as an interior designer, with a focus on materials library management and design sales. Ritsuko started their career in 2000 at Johnson Fain, where they worked as an Interior Designer for eight years. Ritsuko then joined KAPLANIS ARCHITECT INC. as an Interior Designer for four years, followed by a three-year stint at Gensler in the same role. From 2015 to 2021, Ritsuko worked at SmithGroup as an Interior Designer. Most recently, they worked at Meshberg Group as a Materials Library Manager, and they are currently employed at Blu Dot in a design sales position.

Ritsuko Shibutani completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry Science from Tottori University from 1989 to 1993. Later, from 1996 to 1999, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from Marymount University. In 2011, they obtained the NCIDQ Certification from the National Council for Interior Design Qualification Inc. Additionally, in 2012, they acquired the CCIDC Certification from the CCIDC, Inc. - California Council for Interior Design Certification.
