Darren McNamara

Darren McNamara has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Darren is currently the Director of Technology Development at Blu Wireless starting from October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at General Dynamics Mission Systems where they held various positions including Chief Solution Architect from January 2022 to October 2022, Solution Architect from January 2019 to January 2022, Product Line Engineer/Technical Product Manager from January 2017 to January 2019, and Consultant Systems Engineer from July 2012 to January 2017. Before joining General Dynamics Mission Systems, they worked at IPWireless as a Principal Systems Engineer from October 2007 to June 2012. Darren's early career includes a position as a Senior Research Engineer at Toshiba Research Europe Ltd from November 2002 to October 2007, and as a Student Engineer at Racal Radio (Comsec) Ltd from September 1996 to June 1999.

Darren McNamara completed a doctoral degree (PhD) at the University of Bristol from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1999, they pursued their undergraduate education at the same university, obtaining a Master of Engineering degree (MEng) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
