Aaron Pickens

Aaron Pickens is a Level II Spacecraft Systems Engineer at Blue Canyon Technologies since May 2023. Prior to this role, Aaron served as the Mechanical Engineering/SMA Lead for the Student Thermal Energetic Activity Module (STEAM) Program and as a Structural/Electrical Student Engineer for the Antibiotic Resistant E. Coli in Space (ARES) Program at NASA Colorado Space Grant Consortium from February 2019 to May 2023. Earlier experience includes an internship as a Waterpower and Dams Intern at Stantec during the summer of 2018. Aaron holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned in 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, completed in 2021.
