Joseph Poplawski

Joseph Poplawski has over 20 years of experience in the Human Resources field. Joseph began their career in 1989 as a Recruiter for Lockheed Martin in Seabrook, MD. From 1990-1992, they were a Human Resources Section Manager at the same location. In 1992-1993, they were the Human Resources Manager for the SSEIC program. From 1993-1997, they were the Human Resources Manager for the East Coast Operation of Ford Aerospace and Loral in Seabrook, MD. Joseph then moved to San Jose, CA in 1997 to become the Recruiting Manager for Loral Western Development Labs. In 1999, they began working for TRW as a Human Resources Manager (1099) and for Cadence Design Systems as a Senior Technical Recruiter. From 2004-2008, they worked for Omen Inc., Perot Systems, and Harris Corporation as a Senior Technical Recruiter. In 2010, they joined Next Century Corporation as a Hiring Director. From 2016-2021, they worked for Asymmetrik as a Senior Recruiting Manager and is currently a Staffing Director for Blue Cheetah Analog Design, Inc.

Joseph Poplawski began their educational journey in 1975, when they attended Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and obtained a BA in Theirtory Speech. Joseph then went on to Ball State University, where they obtained a MA in Speech in 1980. The following year, Joseph began PhD level classwork at the University of Maryland in Communications, which they completed in 1988. Additionally, Joseph obtained a SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
