Nick Harley

Nick Harley, PMP, has extensive experience in systems engineering, primarily with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama since July 2002. As a System Engineer III for Mainframe Services, responsibilities include managing file transfer processes and supporting communications and monitoring tools. Previously, in the Midrange Support role, Nick administered a multiplatform Unix and Linux environment and utilized managed file transfer technologies. Other roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield include System Engineer II for Server Engineering, overseeing operating systems in distributed environments, and as a Network Operations Center Administrator, providing customer support and monitoring tool management. Prior experience includes a TCM Systems Engineer role at Commforce, focusing on quality assurance and application deployment, and a Workstation Tech role providing network client support. Nick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Management and an Associate’s Degree in Computer Network Technologies from Herzing College.
