Hal Schierts

Hal Schierts has extensive experience in healthcare analytics and business development, currently serving as DVP of Healthcare Insights at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City since March 2012. Prior roles include Director of Clinical Data and Market Analytics and Program Manager at the same organization. Hal's previous experience includes working as a Business Development Specialist at ScriptPro, where strategic business documents and cases were developed, and as Manager of eEHR at Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System. Hal began their career at Cerner Corporation, where the role of Director and Lead Architect was held for over 12 years. Hal earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University between 1987 and 1991.
