Rebecca Oran

Rebecca Oran’s work experience includes serving as the Director of the Nudge Unit and Behavioral Insights at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where they lead a team focused on using behavioral insights to improve the decisions and health outcomes of BCBSMA’s members. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Associate at ideas42, specializing in US Health. At NORC at the University of Chicago, Rebecca held positions as both a Research Analyst and a Research Assistant in the Health Care sector, where they worked on various government and non-profit health policy projects. Rebecca also has experience as a Graduate Summer Research Intern at Penn Medicine Nudge Unit and as a Graduate Winter Research Intern at Every Mother Counts.

Rebecca Oran holds a Master's Degree in Behavioral Science with a concentration in Health Communications from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Rebecca also completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and Public Policy at Kenyon College. Additionally, they pursued a program called SIT Argentina: Public Health in Urban Environments at the School for International Training.
