Sara Teachout

Sara Teachout has extensive work experience in various roles. Sara worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont from 2017, starting as a Director of Government, Public, and Media Relations and later becoming the Corporate Director of Government and Media Relations. Prior to that, they held positions at the Vermont Legislative Joint Fiscal Office, where they worked as a Senior Fiscal Analyst from an unknown start date until 2017, and as a Fiscal Analyst from 2001 to an unknown end date. Sara also worked as a Regional Planner at Rutland Regional Planning Commission from 1999 to 2001. Sara began their career as a Research Analyst and Executive Search at TASA International from an unknown start date until 1997, and as a Media Relations Assistant at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in 1994.

Sara Teachout completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History from the University of Vermont, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Subsequently, from 1997 to 1999, they pursued a Master's degree in Planning, Policy, Finance & Administration from New York University.
