Joseph Berns

Joseph Berns is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in system administration and application integration. Currently serving as a Senior System Administrator at Blue Cross and Blue Shield since May 2009, Joseph specializes in the installation, tuning, and support of WebSphere Application Server and Liberty, as well as WebSphere MQ. Prior to this role, Joseph worked as a Weblogic System Integrator at Embarq from May 2008 to March 2009, focusing on various versions of Weblogic Server. Joseph's earlier career includes substantial tenure at Sprint/IT and Sprint Nextel from 1999 to 2008, where responsibilities included administration of Weblogic and WebSphere environments. Joseph holds a degree from Emporia State University, completed between 1992 and 1997.
