Melanie Dockery

Melanie Dockery has extensive experience in communications and management, currently serving as the Manager of FEP Benefits Administration at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association since August 2015. Prior to this role, Dockery worked as an Independent Business Communications Consultant from 2008 to 2015 and held the position of Communications Manager at the National Alliance of State & Territorial AIDS Directors from 2005 to 2008, where a strong focus was placed on supporting executives with public health communications, publications, web content management, and branding guidelines. Earlier in the career, Dockery gained experience as a Publications Manager at the Society for Marketing Professional Services and as a Technical Writer at SRA International/Mantas, Inc. Dockery holds a B.A. in English from George Mason University and a Professional Certificate in Paralegal from The George Washington University.
