Tuck Drace is a seasoned professional in data science with extensive experience in cloud data platforms and architecture. Currently serving as Managing Director of Cloud Data Platforms at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association since September 2023, Tuck leads the data platform strategy for a network impacting millions, leveraging expertise in AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake. Previous roles include consulting for Fortune 500 companies at Inspire11, where impactful changes were driven in healthcare and manufacturing sectors, and serving as an AWS Big Data Architect at Pyramid Consulting, enhancing data systems for Comcast. Tuck's career began in public health, working on Medicaid systems at the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, and has involved significant contributions to data governance and compliance across various organizations, including the American Medical Association and Heartland Family Service. Tuck holds an M.S. in Data Science from Bellevue University, as well as degrees in Rhetoric & Classical Philosophy and Folklore.
