Chih Lee has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. They started in 2000 at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, serving as an Epidemiologist and Systems Analyst. In this role, they conducted a diabetes quality improvement study and analyzed mortality and hospital discharge data. They then worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts as a Senior Health Data Analyst from 2002 to 2008. In 2008, Chih Lee joined EMD Serono, Inc as a Senior Analyst. From 2010 to 2010, they worked at Boston Health Economics as a Senior Analyst. They then joined Kaiser Permanente as an Analytic Project Lead from 2011 to 2013. After that, they worked at Inter Valley Health Plan as a Manager of Health Analytics and Decision Support Systems from 2014 to 2018. In 2019, Chih Lee worked at Providge Consulting as an Analytic Consultant and is currently working at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona as a Director of Quality Informatics.
Chih Lee holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Health Sector Management from the Questrom School of Business, Boston University. Additionally, they have a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology from The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health. Chih Lee obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health and Society from the University of Rochester. They also have additional certifications, including Epic Benefits Engine Basics and Health Plan Certification from Epic Systems, obtained in August 2013, and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Boston University School of Management, obtained in December 2008.
