Jean Higginbotham

Jean Higginbotham has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Jean started their career at Mitsubishi Acceptance Corporation as an Office Coordinator, where they provided executive leadership support and performed administrative duties. After that, they joined CIGNA Healthcare as a Regional Consumer Sales Manager, where they developed and executed sales strategies to support membership growth and retention.

Jean then moved to Humana, where they held multiple roles. Jean first served as the Director of Account Management for the West Region, overseeing service and renewal operations for the large group business in Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. Jean then became the Director of Sales for Arizona and Nevada, leading the sales teams and executing sales and retention strategies for health and wellness solutions.

Currently, Jean holds the position of Director of Client Services at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. Jean strategically leads the sales and account management teams, responsible for new business sales growth and client retention in the middle market employer group segment. Jean also coaches, trains, and motivates a team of Client Service Managers, Strategic Relationship Executives, and Business Development Executives.

Throughout their career, Jean has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for sales and client management.

Jean Higginbotham completed high school at Hoffman Estates High School in 1986, earning a Diploma in Business. Jean further pursued education at Harper College from 1986 to 1988, however, no specific degree or field of study was provided.
