Aji Abraham has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and organizations. Aji started their career in 1989 as a Special Assistant to Congressman George Gekas, working in the U.S. House of Representatives. Aji also served as a Deputy District Attorney at the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office from 1994 to 1998. In 1998, they joined the Pennsylvania Dental Association as the Director of Government Relations. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as the Executive Assistant to the Secretary at the Governor's Office of Administration, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Aji also served as the Deputy Secretary for Administration at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of State from 2001 to 2002. In 2002, Aji Abraham joined Capital BlueCross, where they held various roles, starting as a Senior Director and eventually becoming the SVP of Business Development. Aji worked at Capital BlueCross until 2020. Currently, they are working at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan as the Senior Vice President of Health Plan Business Innovation and Market Solutions, a position they have held since 2022.

Aji Abraham pursued their Associate's degree at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College from 1988 to 1989. During this time, they focused on the fields of Sociology and Business. Following this, they attended Penn State University -- Harrisburg Campus from 1989 to 1991 to earn their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting. Aji furthered their education by attending Penn State Dickinson Law from 1993 to 1995, where they obtained their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree, specializing in Law.
