Steven Pecic

Steven Pecic, AIA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Facilities Management at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, focusing on the operational success of Corporate Real Estate, Property Management, and various support services across multiple locations. Additionally, Steven is an Executive Board Member for the Downtown Detroit Partnership, contributing to the Detroit Business Improvement Zone. Previously, Steven held several leadership positions at Wayne State University, including Sr. Director of Facilities Operations and Maintenance and Interim AVP of Facilities Planning and Management, overseeing extensive campus facilities and capital projects. Steven's early career includes roles as an Associate Architect at SHW Group and a Student Architectural Intern at Fanning Howey. Steven holds an MBA in Corporate Governance and Finance from Wayne State University and a Professional B.Arch from the University of Detroit Mercy, complemented by an exchange program at the Warsaw University of Technology.
