Nash Shaikh

Nash Shaikh serves as director, chief of staff to the President and CEO at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. In this role, Shaikh is responsible for coordinating and managing deliverables for the President and CEO with an emphasis on strategy and execution. She leads the internal strategy team on developing, implementing and executing the organization’s enterprise strategy; plans and coordinates all meetings and materials for the board of directors and executive leadership team; tracks high priority and highly confidential initiatives for the President and CEO; and facilitates development sessions for all associates related to the organization’s mission, vision, values and strategy.

Shaikh has held several roles in human resources since joining Blue Cross in 2013. She was most recently director of human resources technology and operations before being promoted to her current role in 2021. Shaikh has held HR-related roles at Ascena Retail Group, Chevron, Hindustan Lever Limited, L&T Infotech and Goenka Associates Medical & Research Center.

Shaikh holds an MBA in human resources from the K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research; a master’s degree in commerce from the University of Mumbai (India); a diploma in advertising and public relations from the Welingkar Institute of Management in Mumbai; and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Bhavans College in Mumbai.

Shaikh sits on the board of directors for the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation. She is a former president of the India Association of Minnesota and has held several leadership roles on its board of directors. She is a former board member for Leading Edge Human Resource Network. Additionally, Shaikh serves as a mentor for Hope for Tomorrow.
