Fausto Gortaire

Head of Growth at Blue Fever

Fausto Gortaire has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1999 as a Senior Graphic Designer at the University of Michigan. In 2001, they transitioned to HeadQuarters Advertising as an Art Director, where they art directed all aspects of the agency's visual creative process. In 2005, they became an Account Supervisor at HeadQuarters Advertising, where they were responsible for strategic development, messaging and creative execution for major accounts. In 2010, they moved to Xoom Corporation, A PayPal Service, as a Digital Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for leading online, mobile and social marketing plans, strategies and campaign executions. In 2017, they joined Viamericas Corporation as Digital Marketing Director & General Manager, where they established go to market strategies, co-marketing partnerships, social strategies and campaigns, and developed systems and integrated tools to improve service delivery time and eliminate fraud losses. In 2018, they became Director of Growth at IMVU, and in 2021, they joined Tradesy as Director of Growth. Currently, they are Head of Growth at Blue Fever, where they are responsible for scaling the app for the next phase of growth, developing and launching growth strategies, and optimizing to drive app installs and increase retention.

Fausto Gortaire has a background in education that spans over two decades. Fausto obtained their BA in English Literature and Art from the University of Michigan in 1997. Fausto then went on to pursue an MBA in Marketing from San Francisco State University, which they obtained in 2010. Additionally, they completed a Certificate Program in Management Development for Entrepreneurs at UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2010. Fausto also holds two certifications from Apple and Google Play Academy, which they obtained in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
