Elena Santarella

Elena Santarella is a seasoned professional currently serving as Colorado State Policy Manager for the BlueGreen Alliance, where responsibilities include managing the Colorado state policy program and executing legislative campaigns on crucial issues such as building decarbonization and clean industry. Elena also holds a position on the Community Rail Advisory Committee, appointed to contribute to rail safety measures in Colorado. With a background that includes roles as Colorado Policy Organizer and Research Intern at the BlueGreen Alliance Foundation, as well as experience in environmental education and civic engagement, Elena possesses a strong foundation in policy advocacy and community collaboration. Elena holds a degree from Macalester College and an Environmental Education Certificate from Hamline University.
